About 35 members of the Park Ridge Chamber of Commerce met this morning for a Women in Business networking breakfast with keynote speaker, Lauren Young, CEO of Freshly Baked Communications.
Subway at Village Green catered the breakfast with fresh breakfast sandwiches, apple slices, yogurt parfaits and coffee. Call them at 847-692-4186 to have them cater your events.
Lauren Young is a brand marketing strategy + creative writing firm. In 2008, she launched her boutique firm to satisfy the needs of small and large companies that were without an affinity for original content writing. She incorporates precise business strategy with a little personality to offer a non-traditional approach to traditional marketing methods.
Lauren is the 2011 recipient of the Daily Herald Entrepreneurial Excellence Award for an “Early Stage” business; she placed in the top 3% in the Google Online Marketing Challenge; and received shiny Oscar-like statues from having her creative work nominated for awards from both the Association of Marketing Communication Professionals (AMCP) and the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA).
Her first book, Pour – Marketing Success Starts with the Right Ingredients is also the first of four books in the Freshly Baked Communications series for marketing excellence. Pour, along with Stir, Watch and Serve, offers substantial and easy-to-understand advice to consider when promoting a brand to leave a memorable and favorable impression within your industry. Each book will be just under 100 pages and will be released individually to build in enough time for entrepreneurs to accomplish the goals they set after reading each book in succession.
